Prayer Needs
Please join us in thanking God for his care and provision, and in praying for LIA in the following specific ways:
Prayer: For the upcoming Family Freedom Intensive workshops on July 8-10 and August 12-14, that God would bring the families he wants to participate, and that he will heal hearts and relationships through the program.
Prayer: Please pray for God's wisdom and guidance as we search for new houses for The Source residential program in the Bartlett area.
Praise: Praise the Lord for his faithful provision for LIA in these challenging economic times.
Prayer: For God's continued financial provision for LIA.
Praise: For our June 2010 program graduates. Praise the Lord for the amazing work he has done in their hearts and lives.
Prayer: For these same LIA graduates, that God will give them strength and courage as they transition into life after the program; pray that they will continue to walk out what they have learned here and lean fully on the Lord, trusting in his grace, mercy, and love.
Praise: For the men and women who have contacted us for help in June, and have had the courage to respond to God’s conviction in their life. Pray that they will continue to reach out for the help they need rather than reverting to isolation and despair, and that God will guide them to the people and the resources he wants to use to restore their lives (whether those resources are at LIA or elsewhere).
Prayer: For our current clients: that they will feel God’s love for them in tangible ways, and that He will strengthen them to face challenges that arise in their program. Pray that they will not miss anything God has for them to receive here, and that God will guide each client’s program.
Prayer: For our incoming clients in July and August: that God will prepare their hearts to be at Love In Action, and remove all obstacles to their starting the program.
Prayer: For our counseling staff, that God will show them how to minister most effectively to each of our clients, and help them to do so faithfully. Pray for our administrative staff and board of directors, that God will grant them wisdom as they guide and steward our daily affairs.
Prayer: For the parents who have called in recently: that they will lean fully on the Lord, trusting him completely with their sons and daughters who are struggling or in rebellion; that they will find true joy and peace in Him in spite of their challenging circumstances; and that, having received healing in their own lives, God will empower them to minister to other hurting parents. Pray for those families who need more concentrated support, pray that God will make a way for them to participate in the Family Freedom Intensive workshop at LIA.
Prayer: For men who are struggling with sexual and relational sin, that they will continue to reach out for the help they need; that they will humbly submit to God, and that He will restore their lives and relationships; and that God would connect them with the people and resources He wants to use to restore them, including The Source program at Love In Action, if it’s His will.
Prayer: For women who are struggling with sexual and relational sin, that they will find in the Lord the safe place they need in order to heal; that they will trust Him with their lives and hearts, and receive from Him the strength to walk in obedience. Pray that God will send them supportive friends, family members, and churches to love them as they grow stronger in Christ; and that the 4-Day or 28-Day intensive programs at LIA might be used by God to help struggling women.
